• Fit & Comfort: ensure clothing and accessories do not restrict normal movement, breathing, elimination, grooming, or body temperature

• Quality & Breathable Materials & Fabrics:  Choose soft, natural, or flexible materials like cotton, soft knits, or wool that will not irritate sensitive skin

• Form & Function: Think beyond fashion and determine what will best serve your pet

• Well Made & Safe: Make sure there are no choking hazards. Skip noisy accessories like bells, dangling charms, or flashing lights that can stress or disorient your pet. Check seams, buttons, and machine-pressed designs and avoid cheap appliqués or loose pieces that a pet can chew off and swallow.

• Weather & Pet Appropriate: Not all pets need that thick cosy sweater while some can't be outdoors in the cold without an insulated coat or jacket. Understand your pet's needs and choose appropriately.
