Hi, I'm Daniela, CEO and Founder of Elite Paws Pet Care and your dedicated pet caretaker / personal pet concierge. I'm also a discerning pet parent with admittedly extremely high standards.

As a lifelong animal lover, caring for pets has always come naturally to me. When I welcomed my fur children into my family and life, I made it my mission to be the best cat mom and dog mom ever, promising to provide them with the best life possible. I studied holistic pet nutrition, force free and positive reinforcement training and animal behaviour, and also self-trained my service dog with occasional guidance from a certified service dog trainer. I continue to read and research everything that I can to ensure I continue to provide my fur babies with the exceptional attention and care they deserve.

As they say, like parent like child, which means I've been blessed with fur children who have inherited my same demanding and distinct needs. Because of this, finding occasional or temporary care with people I trusted and who were wiling and able to offer the type of care I expected was always challenging. I knew there were so many other pet parents like myself struggling with the same problem.

And so, Elite Paws Pet Care was born! Having spent most of my career in the corporate world as a busy professional, it is now my honour and privilege to offer dedicated and loving pet parents like myself the kind of pet care they not only require but insist upon.

Regular messages and photos are sent as per your requested update frequency to give you peace of mind and reassure you that your pet is not only being well taken care of but having the time of their life.

We maintain complete confidentiality when it comes to our Elite Paws clients and their pets. Whether you are a high-profile or public-facing individual, or simply value your privacy, you can rest assured that neither your or your pet's information will be shared. Any pet photos you see posted on our social channels are after a stay has been completed and only with explicit client consent.

Safety & Professionalism

Elite Paws Pet Care prides itself on our professional standards, our reliability and our safety. We are criminal background checked, Pet First Aid & CPR certified, and fully insured. Walks are GPS tracked and supervised free play is provided indoors and in a fully fenced yard.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

A confident boy with the biggest heart and most contagious smile. Ciaran may have been bred to be a show dog and loving companion but he was born with a passion to work. He loves solving puzzles and having a job, and took on the task of becoming my service dog with excitement. Certified in Scent Detection, he leads with his nose and insists that every walk is an active sniffari. He is very passionate about food, fetch and toys, and is extremely proud of his impressive mushroom plushie collection. He enjoys meeting other dogs and people of all ages, unless distracted by a sniff mission.

Bernese Mountain Dog

Coco was my first dog and the one who opened my heart in unimaginable ways. Always a smile on her face, there wasn't a human or animal she didn't love. She was a true social butterfly and despite her size, she was ever so gentle with the tiniest of creatures. She loved playing fetch and ball was life. Coco was the best snuggle bug and loved climbing onto my lap and resting her head on me. Her smile lit up the room, especially when I was making pancakes - her favourite treat. Sadly, she crossed the rainbow bridge much too soon but her memory lives on with all who loved and remember her.

Siberian Forest Cat

Kiki is the princess of the family. She's gorgeous and she knows it. She loves love and is happiest when being petted and cuddled, which she demands often. A little timid, a little sassy, she has the sweetest nature but the loudest meow, especially in the morning when breakfast has not been served on time. Expressive in every way, she purrs loudly and squirms with delight when she is being brushed. Her discerning palate makes her a picky and slow eater, preferring to savour rather than gulp down her food. A true lady and aristocat in every way. She's also an expert fly catcher.

Russian Blue

Kobold earned his title as Patriarch of the Household. Now in his senior years, he prefers judging everyone from a quiet and cosy spot. Despite his age, he's a very active cat who relishes his supervised outdoor time, stalking birds and squirrels in the backyard while his brother Ciaran enjoys a game of fetch. A foodie in every way, he'll eat pretty much anything you put before him and will try to steal his sister's food with any chance he gets. This means separate feedings so everyone can enjoy their meal in peace. If you scratch his bum and massage his ears he will melt like butter and fall madly in love.
